Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you buy or make a Wish.
Last updated 26 September 2026 · Robots Drinking Tea LLC, trading as TapAWish
1. Who you are contracting with
TapAWish is operated by Robots Drinking Tea LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. We currently sell and ship within the United States only.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or the Acceptable Use policy.
4. What we sell
A Wish is a page you compose from a template. Depending on the product you buy, it is delivered as a link, and/or bound to a physical keepsake carrying an NFC tag, a printed QR fallback and a wax seal. Some products are limited in number and are sold until that number is gone.
5. Orders and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. An order is only accepted once Stripe confirms payment to us — a page saying "thank you" in your browser is not, by itself, confirmation.
- Shipping is included in the price of physical products.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, refunding you in full, if it was priced in error, cannot be fulfilled, or breaks these terms.
6. Personalised goods
Almost everything we make is personalised and cannot be resold, so the right to cancel ends when production begins. The Refund Policy sets out exactly when that is, and it forms part of these terms. Nothing in it affects your rights when an item is faulty.
7. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we do not control the postal service. See the Shipping Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of any address you give us, including a recipient's.
A person you ask us to post a card to has their own right to have their name and address erased, and we honour it at any stage. If they ask before their card is posted, we do not post it: you may name someone else for that card, or we refund it. If it has already been posted, it cannot be recalled, and we will not post it again if it comes back. We tell you only that the card cannot be sent, never anything else about the request. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us only the limited permission we need to make and deliver your order, set out in Content and Licensing. You confirm you have the right to use every photograph, film, recording and word you upload, and the agreement of identifiable people in them, including anyone who can be heard.
9. Links can be switched off
A published Wish is reachable by anyone holding its link or its card, which is what makes it a gift. You may revoke a link at any time, and revocation is permanent — a revoked link cannot be turned back on. We may also disable a Wish that breaks the Acceptable Use policy or that we are required to remove.
10. Availability
We work to keep TapAWish running but do not promise it is uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features. We will not remove a keepsake's ability to open without telling you, except where we must.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
- The service and the goods are provided without warranties beyond those the law implies.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, goodwill or data.
- Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are a keepsake maker: please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable, and do not treat a Wish as your only copy of a photograph.
12. Your responsibility to us
If a claim is brought against us because of content you uploaded or an address you supplied, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of it.
13. Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time; see Data Deletion. Closing it does not cancel orders already in production, and does not entitle you to a refund outside the Refund Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Questions: contact@tapawish.com.
