Copyright Complaints

How to tell us something infringes your copyright, and how to object if we removed yours by mistake.

Last updated 26 September 2026 · Robots Drinking Tea LLC, trading as TapAWish

1. Reporting infringement

If you believe something on TapAWish infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) it must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
  • The link to the Wish, and enough detail for us to find the specific material.
  • Your address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the notice is accurate and — on penalty of perjury — that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.

2. Our designated agent

Copyright Agent, Robots Drinking Tea LLC
c/o United States Corporation Agents, Inc., 476 Riverside Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32202, United States
+1 (305) 613-3657
contact@tapawish.com

3. What happens next

On a complete notice we disable access to the material — typically by revoking the link, which stops the card and the QR code as well — and tell the customer who uploaded it, passing on your notice.

4. If we removed your work by mistake

You may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed through mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and telephone number, consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

5. Repeat infringers, and false claims

We close the accounts of repeat infringers. Note also that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) — please be sure before you file.
